for everyone
We visited Stourhead on, what turned out to be, a rainy day in May. It is a beautiful place, and what the photos cannot show is the wonderful fragrance that surrounded us throughout our walk.

Lovely, Viv. Thanks! Isn't it a wonderful year for rhododendrons! They've been glorious round here and didn't know there were any last year. Why is that I wonder.

I meant to say that you do get some excellent close-ups of flowers. I am still grappling with new camera and haven't cracked the technique yet.

I really love these pics Viv, it looks like a stunning place. I love hoe England looks so green and lush at this time of year. And I can smell the smell, it's all around in the park here, it's packed full of rhodedendrons.

That's nice. Kinda reminds me of the gardens at Alton Towers.

That's another lovely shot. Is it raining in this shot? I'm sure I can see ripples from raindrops.

i was looking out from the grotto, which is where the 2 white statues you can see in other photos reside

Elizabeth and I both had our cameras with us, at this point we both got down to floor level, but without saying anything to each other, then both turned and said 'don't steal my photo idea', my mother was just laughing at us and wishing we would hurry up.
