I am normally a jeans girl, it is very rare for me to wear anything else, I might tart them up a bit with a nice top and dolly shoes if I'm going out somewhere, but my standard uniform is jeans, layered tops and, depending on the season, trainers or flipflops.

I'm going to a Wedding though.

A posh Wedding.

In a Somerset village church and then a reception at 13th century Manor House.

It's next week.

I finally bought something to wear 2 days ago.

It's a posh frock!

I almost feel like a proper growed up lady when I put it on, (a lady from the 1950's that is).

I'm even going to wear my pearls.

You can bet your sweet ass I'll be back in jeans in time for the evening 'do' though!

ohhh.. VERY nice, viv!... same here, I enjoy getting togged up in a 'posh frock' ...but only for a short time before I'm scrambling back into my jeans. This weekend's almost too much for me - I had one posh outfit for last night's Rugby Club dinner dance and now I have to wear another to a Christening this afternoon. I'll be getting jean withdrawals!... lovely day for it though :-)

I'm the same way, Viv. Give me jeans or sweats any day! Every once in a while its nice tho to dress up--kind of makes you feel grown up, doesn't it? Bet you'll be a knock-out!

Oh I LOVE those heels!! You're so lucky to be able to wear them - I had to give up wearing heels years ago. ~sob~ I bet the dress looks adorable on you as well. Black and white is such a versatile combination. :-)

I love the dress AND the shoes !! I hope you feel very pretty and have lots of fun in your new outfit :) I hear you about being back in jeans ASAP - I'm a jeans girl, too. Always have been. But, it is fun to dress up on special occasions, so ENJOY!
