Hi, just saw you are in the UK somewhere (my homeland). I had to laugh about your comment on the Panini stickers, I didn't know they were known in England. It is a shame that they did not qualify. I would have been one of the few driving a car with a union Jack flying. My Swiss husband won't even put a Swiss one on it. |

mine will start back the first week of september, they have just over 5 weeks off. elizabeth will be starting at art school so i think she goes back about a week later. |

Bridal shower gifts are in addition to the wedding gifts. After a couple gets engaged and sets a wedding date, they go register for gifts at a store. The idea is that they are registering for gifts to set up a household. Since I have lived on my own for 10 years, we registered for replacements for worn-out items, as well as items I'd considered buying but never had. For the Bridal Shower...which is technically only for women, but sometimes now they do co-ed ones...the guests buy items off the registry, and then for the wedding, guests also buy items off the registry. They don't HAVE to. But it helps minimize the likelyhood of getting 3 toasters. :) |
